The Fool
This was the first Tarot card that was ever pulled for me.
It was explained that this card meant:
- that I take risks and people try to warn me not to (barking dog)
- that I often fall down (walking off cliff) but I always get back up and keep going
- that I most often will find the positive things in life (looking up)
- unaware of the extreme challenges that are before me (not looking down)
What also makes this image personal to me:
- he dresses in flamboyant, tattered cloths (no care what anyone thinks about it)
- he is carrying a sack with his things (essentially backpacking)
- he has a dog
- he’s in the mountains
